Prestige Steel Buildings handles personal information received through our website, advertising lead forms, calls, text messages and project enquiries. Information we collect and why
When you enquire about a building, we collect the contact and project information you provide. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business, project location, building dimensions, requested services and messages. We use this information to respond, prepare quotes, discuss your project, provide services and maintain related records.
Our website and service providers may also collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, page activity, cookies and advertising identifiers to operate and protect the site and measure advertising performance.
Google lead forms and text enquiries
If you submit a Google lead form, Google collects the information you enter and makes it available to us so we can respond to your request. Google also processes information under its own privacy policy. If you text us, we receive your phone number and message and use them to respond. Your mobile provider may apply its usual messaging charges.
Submitting an enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing. Where required, we obtain consent before sending promotional email or text messages. You can ask us to stop promotional contact by replying to a message or contacting us directly.
Advertising measurement and cookies
We use Google Ads conversion tracking to understand whether advertising leads to enquiries. Our website quote form uses enhanced conversions: email addresses and phone numbers are converted into hashed values and sent to Google for matching and advertising measurement. Hashing changes their format; it does not make them anonymous.

Service providers and sharing
We use service providers for website hosting, communications, enquiry management and advertising. Our website quote requests are delivered to Monday.com for follow-up. We also use Google reCAPTCHA to help protect forms from spam and abuse; Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that service.
We share information with providers as needed for these purposes and may disclose information where legally required. Providers may process information outside Canada, where local laws may allow access by courts or authorities. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Retention and safeguards
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for enquiries, projects, business records and applicable legal obligations. When no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or anonymized. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact Jason to request access to or correction of your personal information, ask about retention or deletion, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal or contractual reasons, and withdrawing information needed for a service may affect our ability to provide it.
